Roll Threading / Thread rolling is a method of forming threads using “pitch diameter” round bar. The threads are formed by dies “squeezing” the material to form the major and minor diameters of the threads. EDSCO can provide roll threaded anchor bolts from 1/2″ to 2-1/4″
Cut Threading / Thread cutting is the threading method utilizing sharpened tooling to remove steel from a “Full Bodied” or full sized round bar. Steel is cut or “Chased” to form the threads of the anchor bolt. EDSCO can provide cut threaded anchor bolts from 1/2″ to 4″.
EDSCO utilizes production sawing and / or shearing methods to efficiently and accurately cut any grade of steel for anchor bolt and miscellaneous fabrication requirements.
Using CNC controlled plasma cutting systems, EDSCO can cut up to 1-1/2″ thick plate steel for setting templates, base plates, plate washers, miscellaneous fabricated products and any other type of plasma burned parts.
EDSCO is capable of performing both structural and non-structural steel weldments using Mig and / or Stick technologies.
Anchor Bolt Cage Assembly/Packaging
Assembled Anchor Bolt Cages / Fully welded and assembled to customer specifications, EDSCO regularly assembles cages to be shipped complete and ready for immediate installation at job sites.
Loose Anchor Bolts/Anchor Bolt Cages / EDSCO provides loose cages or anchor bolt assemblies packaged to customer specifications. Packages include all hardware pre-installed on bolts to ensure proper nut / washer fit.
Miscellaneous Steel Fabrication
EDSCO can fabricate and assemble miscellaneous structural pieces per customer requirements including drilling, tapping, fitting & welding.
EDSCO utilizes a Radius Bending process to bend most any bar up to 4″ in diameter. Properly using this technique allows full integrity of the material to be maintained through the process, minimizing the possibility of stress cracking.
